they/them

if we zoom out and look at it from ~a~ beginning, I believe that over the course of many lifetimes, I’ve been guided toward this moment—here, sharing space with souls who seek to reconcile with the inherent truth that life is abundant. food grows from the ground, nature is exquisite, perhaps suffering need not be an indicator of success. Instead, we find it in rest and connection!

Over a decade in hospitality, I’ve honed the art of hosting, making it a cornerstone of my ~work~. I’m the guy smiling over the stovetop checking the temp of tonight’s chicken roast (165 degrees, of course ;) while my guests check in on themselves during a full moon journaling sesh..I’m doing laundry wondering if the next round of company would be up for an impromptu exercise in linguistics—actually, though, cos where did all these euphemisms come from? Or maybe we’ll be laughing too hard over a game or sharing a quiet moment contemplating how we can create more space for each other to be fully seen, beyond the limits of our usual roles...it's giving collab art piece reimagining macaroni art.

I approach life slowly and intentionally, welcoming nuance and depth into every room I enter. mostly, I’m here to learn—both from the land and from the people I have the privilege to serve. my work is not just about guiding others back home to themselves, it’s about reminding us all of what we have to offer when we show up with open hearts and our inner child in full.

other hobbes details include: cinephile, simp for the clouds, the first one on the dance floor, retired theatre kid yet chronic yes and-er. probably working on another love poem and still learning to let spam calls go to voicemail.
